The man who allegedly murdered his defacto partner at Nasilivata Street in Nadera on Monday has been charged by police.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the man has been charged with one count of criminal trespass and one count of murder.
He will be produced at the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.
Fijivillage has received information that the 60-year-old man used to run a security recruitment agency.
The 24-year-old woman who was allegedly stabbed several times by the man, was rushed to the hospital however she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The man surrendered himself to police.
Serious concerns have also been raised that some people took videos of the gruesome attack however they did not take any immediate action to assist the woman.
The videos were circulated on social media late yesterday and have been removed after we highlighted the issue late yesterday afternoon.
