A Cunningham man who was allegedly part of the group that was targeting to rob a major food chain outlet in Suva has been charged with one count of being armed with an offensive weapon at night.
The other 2 were interviewed and released however they were taken to Lautoka and Samabula for breach of their bail conditions.
Two other men were released.
Officers in the Southern Division foiled the planned robbery at the major fast food chain following the arrest of five men believed to have been planning the crime.
Members of the Southern Division task force intercepted a vehicle in the Valelevu area of operation and questioned the two occupants who were acting in a suspicious manner and found the two allegedly in possession of house breaking implements.
The two were taken in for questioning where they revealed their alleged plan of breaking into the popular fast food restaurant early Thursday morning.
They also revealed the alleged involvement of other men and officers arrested the remaining suspects.
