31-year-old Sanaila Noka has been acquitted by Suva High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo.
Noka and Bai Durumata were both charged with manslaughter.
Durumata had pleaded guilty to the offence admitting that while drinking beer with the 32-year-old deceased at Whistling Duck nightclub he was annoyed that the deceased was not buying beer.
He said he punched the deceased in the mouth causing him to fall and his head hit the concrete floor.
The incident occurred on 5th July 2016.
Justice Temo stated that the prosecution was placing the same theory on Noka which created reasonable doubt in their case.
He found Noka not guilty of the charge and released him.
Durumata will be sentenced tomorrow.
