Suva Magistrate Waleen George is expected to rule on former Transport Ministry spokesperson Sainiana Radrodro’s no case to answer application, on the 7th of December.
Defence lawyer Akuila Naco said in court that they have not filed the application as yet because the transcripts were not available to them.
Magistrate George has given 3 week’s time for the application by the defence and the submission by FICAC.
This has to be done by the 16th of November.
Bail has been extended for Radrodro.
Sainiana Radrodro is charged with 11 counts of obtaining a financial advantage by deception.
It is alleged that between May 2010 and June 2011, Radrodro obtained a financial advantage by falsely stating that the then Minister for Works, Transport and Public Utilities Timoci Natuva had requested $9,560 on more than 11 separate occasions.
