Suva Magistrate Deepika Prakash has ruled that Prime Fiji Limited has a case to answer.
FICAC charged Prime Fiji Limited with one count of Forgery and one count of Using Forged Documents.
It is alleged that Prime Fiji Limited submitted falsified security bonds of Westpac Bank amounting to $351,865 to Fiji Roads Authority while negotiating a street light renewal agreement with Fiji Roads Authority.
The defence filed for a no case to answer after FICAC finished presenting their case in the trial last year.
In her ruling, Magistrate Prakash said there was relevant and admissible evidence presented by the prosecution.
The case will now be called on the 11th of next month to fix the continuation of the defence case.
The defence has one witness.
