The University of the South Pacific, University of Fiji and Small Business Development Services Fiji have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Public Service Commission to provide training for its public servants.
Public Service Commission Permanent Secretary Parmesh Chand says this is the second year the Commission has outsourced trainers to train its personnel.
Chand says the training will be for middle and senior management personnel of the Public Service and the training will also be done outside Suva.
He says some areas of training will be on leadership, performance management, emotional intelligence, data analysis and most importantly on research.
The Commission has allocated over $60,000 for this training.
