“Look into the future and not the past.”
That is the message of the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama while opening a new block of classrooms at Gandhi Bhawan Primary School in Lautoka today.
Bainimarama has urged the teachers and the 570 students of Ghandi Bhawan the importance of national unity leading up to the general elections to keep our country a better Fiji especially for young people.
Bainimarama said that some politicians are trying to stir up divisions in the country for their own political purposes but he is urging everyone to reject that division and do whatever they can to keep the country unified and stable.
As he looks around, the Prime Minister said he was proud to see the bright young faces of all children from all backgrounds.
Bainimarama told the students that free education is the best opportunity that any Fijian child has ever been given in the history of our nation.
Meanwhile, the Gandi Bhawan Primary School has also assisted the government in funding the new block of classrooms that is worth $130,000.
