4 people including an armed police officer and a man believed to be the attacker, have died in a terrorist incident near the UK's Houses of Parliament.

A woman was among several pedestrians struck by a car on Westminster bridge, before it crashed into railings.

An officer was stabbed in the Houses of Parliament by an attacker, who was shot by police.

At least 20 people were injured, including three other officers.

Meanwhile, UK Foreign Office Minister Tobias Ellwood has been called a "hero" after he was pictured giving first aid to one of the casualties of the London terror attack.

Police said an officer protecting Parliament was stabbed by an attacker, who was shot by police.

The Conservative MP ‑ and former Army officer ‑ gave mouth‑to‑mouth resuscitation to the police officer in New Palace Yard, Westminster.

Four people, including the police officer, died in the incident.

At least 20 people were injured, including three other officers.
