Deputy Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Development Forum Penijamini Lomaloma welcomes the French Envoy.

Climate change knows no borders and affects all of us.

This was highlighted by Deputy Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Development Forum Penijamini Lomaloma while receiving the French Permanent Secretary for the Pacific and Permanent Representative to the SPC Christian Lechervy at the PIDF Secretariat in Nasese.

Lomaloma said France has a critical role as the host of 21st Conference of the Parties on Climate Change as this Conference is crucial because it must result in an international climate agreement that will ensure that the temperature rise is contained below 1.5 degree Celsius.

He added all must come together as a global community and take collective action to confront these challenges.
