A 29-year-old man of Levuka said he will never forget the day he saved three children from a burning house.
National Fire Authority confirmed that Apisalome Bola saved three children including a nine-month-old baby from a teacher’s quarters which caught fire at around 2.40pm on Saturday.
Bola said he heard two children aged seven and three years shouting and that’s when he rushed to the quarters.
The mother of the children was at Levuka town when the incident occurred.
Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said investigation is still underway and they are now waiting for forensic reports.
Sokomuri add they will decide if it’s a negligence case once the report is released.
NFA is still investigating the cause of fire.
