Legislature Department launches corporate plan

The Department of Legislature today launched its corporate plan for the year which has identified key priorities of the Parliament.

Secretary General to Parliament, Viniana Namosimalua said one of the key priorities in their corporate plan is to enable ordinary Fijians to understand what the parliamentary process is all about.

Namosimalua said later this year, they will be going out to different parts of the country with the Speaker of the Parliament and some members of the Parliament.

She said they will be talking to the people on the Parliament processes to enable them to engage with the Parliament.

Speaker of Parliament, Dr. Jiko Luveni also launched the official website and social pages of Parliament today along with its logo.

Opposition Leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa also attended the function this morning and she joined Luveni in cutting the cake to commemorate the occasion.
