Leadership Fiji will be launching a new initiative called the Schools Prefects Training Program.

This program focuses on training school prefects in schools to become young leaders in the community.

Leadership Fiji Chairman William Parkinson highlighted this while receiving a cheque donation of $5000 from the Tradewinds Marine Group Fiji Accountant Sumeet Singh.

Parkinson says that it is through these types of support that Leadership Fiji can expand its training program all over Fiji.

He adds that as an NGO, they want Fijian companies to support the program and Parkinson says that they have a wide range of local companies that have recognised the need for the development of young leaders of Fiji.

Parkinson also thanked Tradewinds Marine Group for their continued three year support and he hope that it may continue.

Meanwhile Singh revealed that they believe in the value of Leadership Fiji and also the need of young leaders which is why they have continued to support the program.
