Thousands of residents of Lami will be without normal supply of tap water this weekend.
The Water Authority of Fiji says the interruption in supply is a result of a burst main beside the Delainavesi Police Post.
The Authority says that water supply is expected to be restored at 1am Monday.
Thousands of residents living in 60 areas of Lami will be affected by this disruption.
Some of the areas include Togalevu, Wailoku Road, Qauia Village, Marine Drive, Ragunath Singh Drive, Delainavesi Road, Nadonumai and Veisari Road.
The Water Authority of Fiji is advising customers to use water wisely and water carts are currently on standby to service affected areas as and when the need arises.
