Fiji’s Vude Queen Laisa Vulakoro will soon be launching her 16th Album since 1997 and will be known as the ‘A’sia Dina A’rai’ despite the different challenges she has faced.

58-year-old, Vulakoro, is known to be one of the best Itaukei female artists of her time and her music is a combination of disco, rock, and Fijian folk.

She says the song “A’sia dina A’rai” means that everything is under control despite the struggles one may face.

Vulakoro is encouraging young people to join the music industry and promote their talent adding that she believes that there are a lot of young women out there who are ashamed to make the most of their talent.

Vulakoro who is also the Director for the Fiji Performing Rights Association has offered to provide free consultation to young artists on how to go about their recording and become a successful artist in Fiji.

The “A’sia Dina A’rai” Album launch will be held at 6pm Friday at Holiday Inn.
