The traffic caused by repairs being done on the Tamavua-i-Wai bridge.

The Land Transport Authority will look into concerns raised about some bus operators refusing to service the greater Lami area because of traffic caused by repairs being done on the Tamavua-i-Wai bridge.

LTA General Manager Operations, Faiyum Ali said bus operators are required to take all passengers along their route under the license given to them.

A concerned parent spoke to Fijivillage and said her nieces and children had to walk from the bus stand to Qauia.

She added that her kids started walking from town at 2.30pm and reached home at 6.00pm.

She said that if it wasn't for her nephew her kids would have taken longer to reach home.
