More than 1,000 complaints have been received by the Land Transport Authority through their free texting platform which was launched about a month ago.
Spokesperson, Iliesa Sokia says they have received complaints about traffic violation which includes speeding, using mobiles while driving, not following the traffic lights, not wearing of seat belts, loud music playing whilst driving and the services of buses and taxis.
Sokia says that they have received the complaints from all the divisions and almost 80 percent of the complaints are resolved.
People can text to LTA for free on 582 for any complaints.
