Two election petition cases have been adjourned to Monday and High Court Judges Justice Anjala Wati and Justice Kamal Kumar have given the counsels in both cases time to advertise the election petition in the newspapers.
An election petition case has been filed by Unity Fiji Party’s Satish Kumar.
The petition has been filed against FijiFirst parliamentarians Salik Govind and Alexander O’Connor and the Supervisor of Elections.
In the other election petition case, Jone Dakuvula has filed the petition against the Supervisor of Elections, the Electoral Commission, Voreqe Bainimarama, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum and Faiyaz Koya.
The two cases have been adjourned to 10am Monday.
