It is a disturbing reality to hear of the general public’s dissatisfying perception towards the service of the Police Force.
While speaking at the Fiji Police Force Remembrance Day, Minister for Defence Ratu Inoke Kubuabola says it is well known how the Fiji Police is continually bombarded by public scrutiny and criticism.
Kubuabola says it is up to the Force to keep this criticism at bay and use it to the Force’s advantage by delivering timely and quality service to all.
He says the people of Fiji are watching and their expectations are growing every time they see a handing over ceremony for vehicles or any other form of assistance that is supposed to uplift the service delivery.
Kubuabola says there is an upsurge of crimes and an increase in policing services as a result of globalization.
He says to effectively address these policing demands there is a need for high level of sacrifice from all.
