Kritesh Kumar sentenced to 9 years 10 months imprisonment for unlawful possession of illegal drugs

High Court Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe has sentenced a man to 9 years 10 months imprisonment for 2 counts of unlawful possession of illegal drugs.
Kritesh Kumar was found guilty of his charges by all three assessors in the case.
Kumar who is a father of two was found in possession of 1.4 kilograms of methamphetamine during a drug raid in Nasinu in November last year.
Kumar can apply for parole after 7 years and 10 months.
