Vodafone Flying Fijians hooker, Sunia Koto says he can’t wait to take the field in the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
The former Marist Brothers High School has already played for Fiji in the 2007 and 2011 Rugby World Cup tournaments.
Koto has made the Fijian No.2 jersey his own and played a starring role in Fiji’s fantastic run to the quarter‑finals of the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France.
His form in the tournament earned him a deal with London Welsh but after two years he returned to France to link up with Narbonne.
Sunia Koto says competition is at an all-time high to make the starting 23 for the first match.
He says in camp, everyone is focused and they have had some special moments.
For him, the most painful moment in camp was when he lost three $100 bets when he put his money on his former school, Marist to win the Coke Zero Deans Final against RKS.
Koto also spoke a bit of French for us.
He also admits that he loves to sing but not in public.
Nemani Nadolo then joined us in a light hearted interview speaking to Sunia Koto about what’s happening in camp.
Still on the Fiji team, Fiji coach, John McKee had one-on-one sessions with the players at Holiday Inn Farnborough earlier today.
They also had a pool and gym session.
McKee is expecting many Fijians to come and support the team during their open training session tomorrow.
Fiji will play England in the opening Rugby World Cup match at 7am on the 19th of this month.
