Korovou Police Station obtains new Breathalyzer Machine and room to further assist in their operations

The Korovou Police Station has obtained a new Breathalyzer Machine and room to further assist in their operations.

Police Chief of Operation ACP Rusiate Tudravu officiated at the Launching of the New Breathalyzer testing room that also consists of the Breathalyzer testing machine.

Tudravu adds that with the movement of vehicles from Natovi Jetty to the Central area and increase of the number of vehicles using the new Kings road, this new machine will assist the Police and daily road users to be safe on our roads when they travel through the Eastern Division.

He has also stressed that safety on the road is everyone's responsibility.

Currently eight people have lost their lives on our roads through Drinking and Driving compared to 3 for the same period last year.
