Konrote feels truly humbled to be blessed with honour of being reappointed as President of Fiji

President Jioji Konrote says he feels truly humbled to be blessed with the honour of being reappointed as President of Fiji.

Speaking at the Constitution Day celebrations at Subrail Park in Labasa, Konrote voiced his sincere appreciation for his reappointment as President saying he would continue to work hard for all Fijians.

Konrote has also urged Fijians to vote in the 2018 general elections, particularly calling on young people to take interest in the electoral process

He called on Fijians to embrace the inclusiveness of the constitution.

Thousands gathered at Subrail Park including school students who widely got an acknowledgment in the President’s speech for their patriotism.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama as well as other government Minister’s were present at the celebrations.
