Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem said it is important at this stage that every registered person keeps their Election Voter Registration card safe.
Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem said some have only one ID card and that is their EVR card.
Saneem said on election day the public is required to produce their EVR cards.
Saneem added if people are going to present any other type of ID it will be difficult and time consuming for election officials on the day of voting to identify the person.
He also said the Elections Office is organizing a civic educator and registration clerk to visit communities and villages to help those that have not registered and replace the EVR cards.
