Apete Kaisau who admitted killing Fiji Red Cross boss John Scott and Gregory Scrivener in July 2001, will remain in Saint Giles Hospital.
His application to be released from Saint Giles Hospital was declined by Justice Salesi Temo in the last hour.
Justice Temo said the court wants to know about the care and treatment provided to Kaisau at the hospital and the medication he received from 3rd November, 2003 to date.
He said the court wants to see expert advice and evidence to prove that Kaisau has fully recovered.
He said the court has received insufficient information and the application to discharge or release him is a very serious matter.
The High Court Judge also said that he wants to know Kaisau’s attitude towards the killing of people because this has not been professionally identified.
He said the court cannot confidently make a decision now and the case will be reviewed in 12 months
The presidential order remains for Apete Kaisau to remain at Saint Giles Hospital.
