High Court Judge Justice, Thushara Rajasinghe will deliver his ruling on the 10th of next month in relation to Fiji Times Limited’s alleged sedition case.
The defence in the Fiji Times Limited’s alleged sedition case has filed the submissions against the amended charges.
The defence counsel is disputing the amended charges.
Charges against Fiji Times Limited, Publisher Hank Arts, Editor Fred Wesley, Nai Lalakai Editor Anare Ravula and contributor Josaia Waqabaca have been amended from inciting communal antagonism to sedition.
According to the amended information filed and served to Fiji Times Limited and others, it is alleged that Fiji Times, on the 27th of April last year printed the Nai Lalakai newspaper which contained an article which had content with a seditious intention to promote feelings of ill will and hostility between classes of the population.
