High Court Judge, Justice Vinsent Perera asked a 7-year-old rape victim to clarify what she meant by the term private part when giving evidence on Monday in the case of a 65-year-old man who allegedly raped his granddaughter.
The man is charged with one count of rape and two counts of sexual assault of his 7-year-old granddaughter.
The girl gave evidence in closed court in the last hour.
Defence counsel Filimoni Vosarogo informed the court that the accused will practice his right to remain silent.
The prosecution and defence will sum up the case this afternoon.
