Bail has been granted to the leader of Jezreel Lion of Judah group Jone Cokanauto who is charged with one count of rape and one count of indecent assault by the Suva High Court.
However Cokanauto is still remanded in custody by the Nasinu Magistrates Court where he is charged with another case of indecent assault.
Justice Salesi Temo granted bail with strict conditions that Cokanauto will have to surrender his passport.
He is also ordered not to leave the country.
The court has placed a curfew on him from 6pm to 6am and he has been ordered to report to the Nabua Police station twice a week.
Jutice Temo also set a condition that Cokanauto and any members of the group must not interfere with the victim.
The alleged incident occurred between the 1st of January to the 31st of July 2006 in Nasinu.
Cokanauto will appear in the Suva High Court on February 22nd next year for mention.
