The Criminal Investigations Department has advised Divisional Crime Officer Southern to carry out further investigations in relation to a fire that destroyed Telecom Fiji Limited’s Cable Cabinet along Nairai road in Raiwai.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says investigators are working hard to apprehend those responsible.
TFL’s Cable Cabinet along Nairai Road in Raiwai was set on fire last Monday.
A juvenile who was allegedly involved in the incident has been released after being questioned by Police.
The incident occurred when a pile of rubbish near the cabinet was set alight.
The fire affected TFL landline and Connect Internet Services in some parts of Raiwaqa.
Telecom Fiji Limited is offering a reward of $1,000 to anyone who provides information which may lead to the arrest of those responsible.
