The investigation file regarding the death of the late David Reddy whose body was found floating in the Waidalice river in Tailevu two weeks ago will be submitted to the Resident Magistrate for a judicial inquiry.
Chief of Investigations and Intelligence ACP Henry Brown said the Commissioner of Police Ben Groenewald personally visited the family of Reddy to inform them of the investigation finding which has ruled out foul play.
ACP Brown told them that the investigation finding into their son’s death were consistent to that of a fatal accident.
He said the file therefore will be submitted to the Resident Magistrate for an inquest.
