International designer Dena Burton will be showcasing two of her collections at the Fiji Fashion Week for the first time later this week.
Burton is from Chicago and her collection has appeared in several exclusive fashion events such as the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week LA, the San Francisco Fashion Week and the Miami Fashion Week.
She will showcase her designs from Thursday.
Burton said she designs clothes for women who know their own beauty, their purpose and the road that they take.
She said her success and rising popularity has fortified the brand vision, by seeing women become confident with their own sense of purpose.
Fiji Fashion Week managing director Ellen Whippy-Knight said bringing international designers to Fiji is about the exchange of knowledge on what it takes to market labels internationally.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Fashion Week charity luncheon for the Dilkusha Girls Home will be held at Novotel, Lami, on Wednesday.
