The Indian High Commissioner to Fiji Vishvas Sapkal has confirmed that the India Naval Ship, Sahyadri will be arriving into the country on a Goodwill visit next Monday.
Sapkal says that the Naval Ship has a total 40 Navy Officers and 244 Sailors on board.
The Navy Officers will be working with Republic of the Fiji Military Forces to plant Mangroves along the Nasese Foreshore.
A team from the INS Sahyadri will also be providing free medical checkups for Fijians at Sukuna Park next Tuesday from 10am to 4pm.
Sapkal added that around 200 students from various schools in Suva have confirmed their visit to the boat on Tuesday.
Members of the public who wish to tour the Sayadri on Tuesday are requested to bring their ID along with them.
The India Naval Ship will depart our shores next Thursday.
