India stands ready to support Fiji in defense and electrification of rural communities with the distribution of LED bulbs.

This was after the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama’s fourth meeting with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Talks also included Fiji to receive pharmaceutical assistance from India.

The Indian Prime Minister is seeking support from his countryside Gujarat State, to establish a supply chain of pharmaceutical products in Fiji.

Bainimarama has also been lauded for his support to the International Solar Alliance initiative.

So far India has distributed around 280 million LED bulbs worldwide.

India is the fastest growing economy and through its UJALA initiative which is boasting its LED supply source.
