An Immigration Officer who is charged with one count of rape has been granted bail by the Nadi Magistrates Court.
He has to relocate to Navua.
It is alleged that he raped a woman in a hotel in Nadi on the 17th of this month.
The prosecution had objected to bail saying the accused and complainant were from the same area in Nadi.
The case has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court, and will be called on the 17th of next month.
