Jone Vakarisi Junior today told Suva Magistrate Liyange Wikaramasekara that he is still sleeping on a bench and is doing his business in a bucket at Korovou Prison.
Vakarisi said he has been placed in prison and wants to be put back in the remand centre.
The prosecution has told the Magistrate that it would be best to summon the Officer in Charge at the Remand Centre to respond to the issue Vakarisi has raised.
Vakarisi then said that he raised the issue on the last date and the prosecution had given the same response.
Jone Vakarisi Junior, Tevita Bulanaivalu, Ledua Gudru, Sekove Serukalou, Jese Sorovi, Toni Sokoiwasa, Chanel Antonio and Mark Ross have been charged with going equipped for theft, criminal intimidation, damaging property and resisting arrest.
They appeared in court this morning under heavy police guard and have filed their bail applications.
The case will be called again at 2.30 this afternoon where the Magistrate will look at their request for bail and also for the Officer in Charge at the Suva Remand Centre to respond to Vakarisi's issues.
