“If you do not support a leader like Voreqe Bainimarama, you are actually putting a dagger to your neck.”

FijiFirst General Secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum stated this in a campaign meeting in Samabula last night and added that he is not scaring the people but stating the fact.

Sayed-Khaiyum told the people not to fall for other political parties but look at the government that is providing consistency and stability and today Fiji is more secure than ever before.

He says they have a leader like Bainimarama who has guts and who looks after everybody.

Sayed-Khaiyum also told the people that he was with Bainimarama in Korovuto where there was talk about how a political party is trying to lure people.

He says a man came to him and agreed with this and stated that National Federation Party was having a meeting in Korovuto and somebody’s vegetables were eaten by a cow.

Sayed-Khaiyum claims that it was said in that meeting that if the people vote for NFP, then they will remove the cow when they come into power.

Sayed-Khaiyum has questioned whether the NFP thinks that the people are stupid and has reminded people that NFP is preying on their vulnerability.

NFP Leader, Professor Biman Prasad says it is the FijiFirst that is preying on the vulnerability of the people by making stories about the NFP.
