Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama said he wanted to win more seats in parliament.
In an interview with Fijivillage, Bainimarama said in his view people who did not vote for the FijiFirst were misled about their policies by other parties during their election campaign period.
Bainimarama also said the school curriculum on the country’s history will also be reviewed by the government to ensure that the events after Fiji’s independence in 1970 are included.
He said SODELPA MP’s like Mosese Bulitavo were attacking the constitution during the election campaign although Itaukei land is well protected.
Bainimarama said the same people have now changed their tune and are saying that they will focus on development when they will go into parliament.
He also questions what SODELPA parliamentarian, Jiosefa Dulakiverata is talking about when he said that he is ready for the battle in parliament.
Meanwhile we have requested for an interview with Opposition Leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa.
We are yet to get a response.
