Hollywood actress, Shailene Woodley did not know anything about rugby before meeting her boyfriend, Flying Fijians flyhalf Ben Volavola.
As a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Woodley talked about filming her recent film Adrift in Fiji, taking part in the traditional kava ceremony and dating a rugby player.
Woodley’s upcoming ocean‑set survival movie Adrift shot in Fiji is based on the true story of two avid sailors, Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp, who set out on a journey across the ocean in 1983 and sailed directly into a category 5 hurricane.
She also talked about her experience of getting to know the community and joining the local kava sessions.
Shailene Woodley has also starred in movies that include the three Divergent movies, The Fault in Our Stars, The Amazing Spider Man 2 and Snowden.
Meanwhile, the film Adrift will premier in cinemas next Friday.
