Hilton organisation in need of experienced caregivers

Experienced caregivers are needed to look after children living with disabilities at the Hilton Organization.

President of the Hilton Organization Rajendra Kumar said it is important how the caregivers deal with the personality of the children living with disabilities.

With a total registered caseload of 130 children living with disabilities, the Organization operates through The Hilton Special School, The Hilton Early Intervention Centre and the Hilton House Hostel.

The Hilton Organisation is working closely with the Department of the Social Welfare to raise the standard of care for children living with disabilities.

Meanwhile, Director of Social Welfare, Rupeni Fatiaki said most of these children who are abandoned at birth are under the care of the Social Welfare Department as their legal guardian under the juvenile act.
