Highest amount of rainfall recorded in Suva with 99.8mm - Nadi Weather Office

The Nadi Weather Office has confirmed that the highest amount of rainfall received in the last 24 hours was recorded in Suva with 99.8mm.

Koronivia recorded 49mm, Nausori Airport 47.8mm, Vunisea received 69.1mm of rainfall while Monasavu recorded 14.6mm.

A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers remains slow moving over Fiji.

The Nadi Weather Office has confirmed that it is anticipated to affect the Fiji group till the weekend.

Isolated heavy falls are expected for the central parts of Viti Levu that include areas from Navua, Suva, Nakasi, Nausori, Rewa Delta, Waila and Naitasiri.
