Suva is expected to come alive when the 2016 Vodafone Hibiscus float procession starts from Rewa street at 1pm today.
Hibiscus committee Public Relations Officer, Liga Gukisuva says they are expecting huge turnout despite wet conditions in the Central Division.
The float procession will start from the Distill Bottleshop in Rewa Street and travel along the Laucala Bay Road to the Vodafone Arena.
Meanwhile, Police are advising people to expect traffic disruptions along the Laucala Bay area today.
Deputy Director Operations, Livai Driu says this is in light of the Hibiscus float procession and preparations ahead of it, which is expected to begin from this hour.
Police say Nailuva road into Rewa street will be accessible to one lane traffic before it will be completely closed off for the float procession which is expected to begin at midday.
Motorists are advised to find alternative routes.
Meanwhile, the crowning of the 2016 Miss Vodafone Hibiscus will start at 7 tonight.
