Hibiscus Events Group donates over $15,000 to Kidney Heart Foundation

The Hibiscus Events Group has donated $15,390 to the Kidney Heart Foundation and $4,500 to Dilkusha Home.

While receiving the cheque, the Kidney Heart Foundation President, Bernadette Rounds thanked the festival organizers and all who contributed to this assistance.

Round says this money will be used for children’s kidney surgery.

Dilkusha Home Superintendent, Deaconess Leba Laveti says she was touched by the donation.

Meanwhile, a total of 12 queen contestants will be competing for the Vodafone Hibiscus crown this year.

They also received and signed their agreement together with their sponsors last night.

The Hibiscus Festival will be held on the 15th of next month.
