Helping people and giving back to the community has brought me happiness that money cannot buy.
This was highlighted by the Reigning Miss Hibiscus Candace Veramu who for the past year has been helping create awareness of climate change through photography and was able to speak about its effects on Fiji at various COP23 events.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Veramu shared that another great moment for her during her journey as Miss Hibiscus was the opportunity she had to conduct school visits to talk about health and wellness with young people.
Miss Hibiscus 2018 will be crowned tomorrow night at the Valelevu Grounds.
Meanwhile, Miss Suva City Council, Simran Nand who also won the Best Research award won the best traditional attire at the second public judging last night.
Tonight will see the awarding of Miss Internet, Miss People’s Choice and Miss Personality awards.
The Queens’ best talent award won by Miss Pasifika Tents, Rayshal Nath while Miss Fiji Society for the Blind sponsored by Auto Care, Jessica Fong won the Best Sarong Award.
