The hearing for former CEO of the then Fiji Commerce Commission Bobby Maharaj will take place from 18th to 22nd February next year.
He has pleaded not guilty to one count of abuse of office.
It is alleged that Maharaj while being employed by the then Fiji Commerce Commission directed an employee of the commission, without conducting an inspection to fill in false information to indicate an inspection was conducted of a trader and a verbal warning was issued against the trader for breaches under the Commerce Commission Decree.
The alleged incident took place between 17th March and 31st December, 2012.
