The newly upgraded field at Marist Brothers High School will see more upgrades in the next few months.
This was after a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the school and Guangzhou Construction Group who will construct an up to standard triple jump rubber track.

Director-General of Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Office, Liu Baochun says the amenities would help teachers and students develop physical fitness and extra curricular activities as well as creating a dynamic school environment.
He says the two countries had established a strategic partnership for joint development in 2014 and this project is a positive contribution in promoting the friendship between China and Fiji.
Minister for Education Rosy Akbar says this ceremony is a testament of the genuine and deep relationship Fiji and China has had for a long period of time.

She stressed these projects will boost the participation of students and teachers in physical activities and also contribute to the fight against non-communicable disease.
