Development of sports and recreational activities in Davuilevu will continue with the aim of providing better services to the residents.
This is according to the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Parveen Bala during the ground breaking ceremony for a new multipurpose court at the Davuilevu Cargill Ground last night.
Bala says under the 2015 municipal challenge fund scheme, $250,000 has been allocated for this multipurpose court.
He says the construction phase will take 12 weeks and this proposed multipurpose court has been designed to cater for sports including Netball, Volleyball and five a side soccer.
Bala assured the people of Davuilevu area that such development will continue for the betterment of all.
He says they will continue to assist Nausori Town Council in the development of the ground.
