Groenewald makes new appointments to senior hierarchy of the Fiji Police Force

Commissioner of Police Ben Groenewald has reshuffled and made some appointments to the senior hierarchy of the Fiji Police Force.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Isikeli Vuniwaqa, the Force Inspector General has been appointed as acting Deputy Police Commissioner.

ACP Rusiate Tudravu remains as Chief Operational Officer, but will only be responsible for operational responsibilities such as Uniform Policing, Border Police and Special Operations.

ACP Henry Brown who is the Chief Administration Officer has been given the responsibilities of Criminal Investigations Department, Intelligence, Internal Affairs and Prosecutions.

SSP Unaisi Vuniwaqa is promoted to Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police and will act as Chief Administration Officer.

Groenewald said the appointment and implementation will come into effect on the 1st of next month.
