Suva's Greig Street has been closed which will undergo road renewal work.
Fiji Road's Authority's General Manager Network Operations and Maintenance, Aram Goes say that Fulton Hogan Hiways will carry out the project.
Goes says that Greig Street was planned for renewals in 2017 however, the project was brought forward in‑line with the opening of the new FNPF building.
He adds that if everything goes according to plan works should be completed within a week provided there is favorable weather.
The road will reopen at 6am this Friday.
Motorists can continue to access the area from Raojibhai Patel Street through Vishnu Deo Street and onto Ellery Street.
Meanwhile, Goes says the FRA knows that there is a long list of roads that need to get resealed or rehabilitated, and FRA is getting it done one road at a time.
