The Ministry of Finance has signed a grant funding arrangement of $620,000 with the New Zealand Government for the purchase and implementation of an audit management software.
New Zealand High Commissioner, Mark Ramsden says the new computer-based software system will help streamline and automate the audit process which is led by the internal Audit Division of the Ministry of Finance.
The grant will also support the salaries of two new technical staff who will help implement the system over the next two years.
The funding support will begin this year and will end in 2017.
