Grace Road Food Company has begun assembling its $2 million worth Rice Milling factory in Navua.
The company has imported its equipment from South Korea.
Company President, Daniel Kim says by February next year they hope to supply the local market with the rice that they will mill at the Navua farm.
The company hopes to brand their product as Fiji Rice and they are currently waiting for the confirmation of this name by the government.
Kim says the company is currently leasing approximately 5,000 acres of land for agricultural products and they are cultivating 100 acres of land for rice production.
