The Ministry of Education says it has topped up the eticketing cards of approximately 80,000 students

The Ministry of Education says that it has topped up approximately 80,000 government subsidised student eTransport cards, which are now eligible for redemption ahead of the start of Term 1.

It says to access these funds, all students carrying blue etransport cards need to get the balance loaded onto their cards using the "redeem" function on any eTicketing machines installed on buses, or by visiting any Vodafone/Valuefone and Mr Mobile outlets or District Education Offices.

The Education Ministry says all blue etransport cards are open for redemption from today.

Parents and students are urged to redeem these funds before the start of Term 1 next Monday.

For any questions regarding the subsidised student eTransport cards parents can call the Ministry's toll‑free help line on 163.
